This site represents a work in progress to provide timely, continuous information on water issues and the dynamic settings of world events in which they occur, in order to access the vulnerability of international river basins to conflict. It builds on the Basins at Risk (BAR) project to continuously monitor international basins for markers suggestive of risk and provide a portal for this information to the international waters stakeholder community.
